This is the second property we have renovated with Outpost following the move from our previous house.

Mildenhall is a large Victorian terraced house in Clapton, and our goal was to enhance its charm while improving its energy efficiency. Instead of focusing on extensions, we worked within the existing footprint, using the budget for significant thermal upgrades, all-new glazing, and preparing the space heating system for a future air source heat pump.

The original character of the house has been lovingly restored, while the zinc-clad dormer extension adds room for the family to grow. We retained the beautiful traditional features and proportions, blending them with modern finishes to create an elegant yet welcoming family home.

In the kitchen, we cleverly maximized space by wrapping the cabinetry around the bay window, creating a generous worktop and a lovely view of the garden. With vibrant hues and personal touches from our wonderful clients, the rooms truly come to life, offering a perfect balance of timeless period features and fresh, modern style.
