Designed for the London-based lighting studio Hand & Eye we developed the Fuji lamp. We explored our interest in combining traditional hand craft techniques with modern industrial mass production methods. The central focus was the silicone, which holds the light bulb and ceramic together, and gives off a beautiful warm glow when illuminated. The shade is made of porcelain with a textured engobe finish.
