A great post-war modern house in Hampstead, given a Grade-II listing in 2014 by Historic England, representing a “completely unique piece of architectural vision and ingenuity that syntheses a great wealth of influences and ideas and is executed with an intensity and conviction that is entirely personal”.

Outpost were approached in 2018 by the owners to consider the design and implementation of certain internal alterations and additions, sympathetic and respectful to this unique property, that stands in fascinatingly original condition, having been lovingly maintained throughout its history.

The proposed alterations have been carefully and thoughtfully developed, drawing on the wealth of the existing architectural language to rework an interior to be fit for use by the five person family.
