Old Paradise Yard
We have enjoyed five incredible years at our studio space in Old Paradise Yard, but the time has come to embark on new adventures as we relocate to Soho. To celebrate our time here, we took the afternoon off and shared a long lunch with our team and a few friends in the charming, ramshackle courtyard.
Old Paradise Yard is a hidden gem in the heart of London, situated opposite St. Thomas’ Hospital and adjacent to Archbishop’s Park. Sadly, it is slated for major redevelopment and will likely be demolished in the near future. This has deepened our appreciation for the value of creative spaces in central London and strengthened our resolve to advocate in our projects for more affordable, flexible workspaces with access to shared outdoor gardens. Too often, large-scale developments erase all traces of what once was, rather than building with, over, next to, or on top of the past.
We also bid a bittersweet farewell to our straw-bale self-build studio. If anyone with a lorry and crane is keen to help whisk it away, please get in touch!
