Project Update
We’re thrilled to share that planning approval has been granted for our low-carbon Passivhaus in the breathtaking Devon countryside! This marks the beginning of an exciting journey to create an eco-friendly dream home, featuring natural building materials, a VOC-free interior, and a Fabric First energy-efficient envelope.
Securing planning approval was an involved process with a large amount of supporting documentation. The carbon analysis, carried out in collaboration with John Butler of Sustainable Building Consultancy, was instrumental in shaping this project.
Currently, Technical Design is underway in partnership with The Build Collective structural engineers. Together, we are working to develop a low embodied carbon foundation and frame design.
We can’t wait to see this project come to life, with work set to begin in 2025!
