Introduction

‘Build less and build better’

Located in a typical terraced London house, the original kitchen sits in the smaller outrigger at the rear of the main structure. While the temptation to extend and create more space for modern open-plan living is often strong, our approach for this project was to build less and build better. We focused on maximizing the existing footprint and investing in a bespoke interior that efficiently meets all our client’s needs.

The kitchen features bespoke cabinetry and oak shelving by Daniel Bradley Furniture, complemented by a stunning sycamore pedestal table from Sebastian Cox Ltd. Mela pendant lights from Hand and Eyes Studio and a Simple Shade 03 pendant light from Naomi Paul add a warm and contemporary touch. Beautiful paint by Atelier Ellis brings depth and character to the space, while terrazzo worktops and counters from Diespeker add a touch of timeless elegance. Cozy cushions by Emily Thomas Studio complete the inviting atmosphere.

This gem of a kitchen truly remains the heart of the home, perfectly blending functionality, craftsmanship, and style.
