Venturethree
A bold intervention into a listed building can sometime be a more sympathetic and enjoyable approach.
The offices of venturethree, a brand company, are housed in a Grade II* listed wing of Cavalry Square, Chelsea, adjacent to the Saatchi Gallery. Our brief was to reimagine the arcade space that overlooks the square—a previously neglected and underutilised area, despite its prime location and architectural significance. As the first impression for visitors, this space held immense potential but had been overlooked in the existing commercial layout.
We focused on unlocking the value of this beautiful, historic space, transforming it into a welcoming and highly functional area that enhances both the office environment and the visitor experience.
A bold red feature wall was introduced to unify and activate the space. The wall, crafted with red-stained cork fronts on bespoke cabinetry, doubles as a functional pin-up board for client presentations, internal reviews, and team meetings. This dynamic cork wall conceals whiteboards, storage, and audiovisual equipment, allowing the space to transform for various events while maintaining a sleek, minimal appearance. The bold, red-stained cork also serves as a graphic statement, adding visual impact to the historic setting.
